U.S. Agency for Inter-national Development and other foreign aid donors,

Karine Ghukasyan, an entrepreneur from Vanadzor, in Northern Armenia, benefited from the market research and new distributions channels created through the Microenterprise Development Initiative, helping her small business to expand. Through the project, new opportunities for Armenians, especially those living outside the capital, Yerevan, were created by supporting the growth the development of small business.
